About Whakawhitinga

Whakawhitinga is a partnership with a vision to improve outcomes for whānau and communities in Aotearoa. Our mission to empower leaders and teams to navigate today's complex challenges with authenticity, resilience, and grit, understanding that workplace experiences influence life at home and across our broader communities.

Established in 2024, collectively we have 20+ years of organisational development consulting experience across a wide range of industries, serving both the public and private sector and a strong track record for the work we do. 

We established Whakawhitinga with the intent to make our services more affordable and accessible, breaking away from traditional consulting practices and pricing models. We understand the financial challenges our clients face and strive to ensure every dollar and every interaction counts.

We view our collaboration as an experience that benefits the people and places we serve. Recognising that organisations and their people are part of larger systems; we understand that every interaction creates a ripple effect. Our holistic approach builds on clients' existing strengths, maximising investment and commitment to enhance leadership capabilities and deliver practical and tangible outcomes.

Our Whakawhitinga logo shows the poutama pattern, known as the stairway to heaven in Māori weaving. Poutama has strong educational and spiritual significance. The stepping pattern represents progression and ascent to higher levels of achievement and progress, as well as the constant pursuit of improvement.
