Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

With a rich and diverse population here in Aotearoa, a strong diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) strategy is essential for organisations wanting to attract and retain top talent, while also ensuring a business approach that reflects and respects the diverse populations you serve.

With a proven track record of helping foster inclusive workplaces, our team combines evidence-based strategies with lived experience to deliver programmes that drive lasting transformation. Our approach is not just about ticking boxes—it’s about creating environments where all individuals feel valued, respected, and empowered to succeed. We can provide support across:

  • DEI efforts must be championed from the top, with senior leaders actively demonstrating inclusive behaviors and embedding DEI into the organisation's vision and decision-making frameworks. We work with Executive teams on an integrated approach to setting goals, regular progress reviews, and transparent reporting.

  • We can support you in the review and implementation of equitable hiring, promotion, and retention practices that reduce bias and create fair opportunities for all employees. Workplace policies should support diverse needs, including flexible work arrangements, accessibility measures, and psychological safety initiatives.

  • DEI training, including unconscious bias, cultural responsiveness, and allyship, helps foster an inclusive mindset across all levels of the organisation. Our integrated services approach works with you to integrate this work into existing streams of development so it is not seen as an add-on, but rather a fundamental part of how you do business.

Examples of recent mahi include:

  • Design and delivery of large-scale Women in Leadership Programmes, including 5-6 months of development support, 1:1 coaching and mentor partnerships.

  • Engaging with marae, hapū, and whānau to explore future aspirations and test potential solutions through online and virtual wananga, digital engagement solutions, governance and project reporting, and event and website management.

  • Research and collaboration on the NZ Wine Industry Our People Report, mapping 5 years of data and trends that tell the story of an evolving, diverse industry. This report has since been used to build the business case for diversity initiatives across the sector.

  • Design and delivery of leadership programmes specific to Māori Leadership Development, Women in Leadership, Working Parents, Rangatahi (Youth), and Intergenerational Diversity Workshops.

We are proud to collaborate with valued partners, enabling us to scale our capacity up where required or target our delivery team to fit your needs.
